Reflecting on an inspiring session from April 16th at Campus F6. The Undergraduate and Master of Architecture Programs were honored to host a Public Lecture featuring Prof. Joseph Aranha from the Huckabee College of Architecture, Texas Tech University, and Dr. Ar. Ir. Raziq Hasan, M.Ars from Gunadarma University. As a leading expert in vernacular architecture, Prof. Aranha shared invaluable research findings that bridged the gap between traditional symbolism and modern architectural transformation.
This lecture was more than a learning opportunity; it served as a vital exchange of knowledge between international academia and our community. By exploring architectural practices in non-Western societies, our students gained a more profound perspective on culture-based and context-driven research. These insights act as a powerful catalyst for our institutional growth, strengthening our path toward international accreditation and fostering future global collaborations in teaching and research.
